Sojourn Property Management was founded by McKenzi Kyle and Kristo Kyle, two central coast locals who have a passion for helping homeowners maximize the potential of their short-term rental properties.
McKenzi Kyle

Born and raised in San Luis Obispo, McKenzi honed in on her natural abilities in service and hospitality while reaching her educational and career goals as an equine veterinary technician. After moving back to the Central Coast from Colorado, she enjoyed her work in equine science but found that her passion was rooted in customer relations within her community. She began managing vacation rentals for friends and family and quickly realized there was an opportunity to expand her services.
Kristo Kyle

Born and raised in San Luis Obispo, Kristo has always been drawn to the sense of connection and purpose that comes from building community on the Central Coast. After years spent growing startups and creative ventures in the Bay Area, he returned home with a renewed focus on local impact. What began as helping friends manage their properties evolved into a broader mission — creating spaces and experiences that bring people together. Through his work, Kristo blends operational know-how with a genuine care for people and place, helping shape the kind of Central Coast community he’s proud to call home.
Together, McKenzi and Kristo manage Sojourn with a goal of making property management a seamless and enjoyable experience for all parties involved, driven by their love of the Central Coast.
